The app is a PWA — open it once in your browser, then add it to your home screen. It installs in seconds and updates itself automatically.
Recommended: MWP FM Player. The native Android app. Plays in the background with lock-screen controls, downloads episodes to a folder you choose, has a home-screen player widget, and works with Android Auto.
Download the APK (short link myweirdprompts.com/apk), open it and tap Install.
In the car: Android Auto only lists apps from outside the Play Store once you turn on Unknown sources in its developer settings (Android Auto settings → tap Version ten times → ⋮ → Developer settings).
Automatic updates: F-Droid. Add our F-Droid repo once and updates arrive by themselves. Works in F-Droid, Droid-ify and Neo Store.
- Follow the F-Droid setup guide (short link: myweirdprompts.com/fdroid), or tap add the repo on your phone.
- Search for MWP FM Player in your F-Droid client and tap Install.
Prefer the wrapped web app? MWP FM (short link myweirdprompts.com/apk-web) updates the moment the site does, but audio runs inside Chrome. It is a direct download only (not in the F-Droid repo) and doesn't get update notifications.
- Open stream.myweirdprompts.com in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu (top-right).
- Tap Install app (or Add to Home screen).
- Confirm — the icon lands on your home screen.
Some Android browsers also show an automatic “Install” banner — just tap it.
- Open stream.myweirdprompts.com in Safari (not Chrome — iOS only installs from Safari).
- Tap the Share button (the square with an up arrow).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add — the app appears on your home screen.
