Get MWP FM on F-Droid

Add our F-Droid repository once and your F-Droid client installs MWP FM Player and keeps it up to date, like any app store. No Google account, no manual APK downloads. The repo carries one app: MWP FM Player, the native Android player.

Add the repo Add it by hand

Tap “Add the repo” on your Android phone with an F-Droid client installed.

On a computer? Scan this with your phone's camera or F-Droid's QR scanner to add the repo.

Three steps

1

Get an F-Droid client

Any of these works: F-Droid, Droid-ify or Neo Store. Skip this if you already have one.

2

Add the My Weird Prompts repo

On your phone, tap Add the repo (or go to myweirdprompts.com/fdroid) and choose your F-Droid client. It shows “My Weird Prompts” — confirm to add it. On a computer, scan the QR code above.

3

Install MWP FM

Let the client refresh its repositories, then search for MWP FM and tap Install. New versions show up as normal app updates.

Add it by hand

If the link doesn’t open your client, add the repository yourself. In F-Droid that is Settings → Repositories → +; Droid-ify and Neo Store have the same option under their repository settings. Enter:

Repository address
https://cdn.myweirdprompts.com/fdroid/repo
Fingerprint (SHA-256)
9EF8 AA13 5BEC A4F1 68B4 DB56 F348 75B3 1C41 425C 8D2A 0B05 4F78 4DE2 0C1D 53E3

The fingerprint proves the repository is ours. Most clients fill it in from the link or QR code; if yours asks, it must match the value above exactly.

Good to know

Already installed the APK?

No need to uninstall. The F-Droid build is the same release-signed app as the direct APK download and the GitHub releases, so F-Droid simply takes over updates.

How often does it update?

Most changes need no update at all — the app loads the live site. App updates are rarer and reach the repository within an hour of a release.

Why not the main F-Droid catalogue?

The main catalogue rebuilds and re-signs every app with its own key, and we want updates the day they ship. Our own repo keeps the official signature, so you can switch between install methods freely.

“Bad fingerprint” or nothing found?

Check the fingerprint matches the one above, then pull to refresh the repository list. If it still fails, let us know.

Prefer another route?

Download the MWP FM Player APK directly, or just install the web app.
