The show in one line: an AI-generated podcast in which Daniel Rosehill sends in questions and two AI hosts, Corn the sloth and Herman Poppleberry the donkey, discuss each one. Every episode has a slug, which is the key to everything below.

Agent skills

These are the official My Weird Prompts skills. Each is a single SKILL.md file: instructions an agent loads when a task matches the description. They're listed for discovery at /.well-known/agent-skills/index.json, following the Agent Skills Discovery draft (v0.2.0), with a SHA-256 digest for each file.

  • mwp-find-episodes

Find episodes of the My Weird Prompts podcast by topic, keyword, phrase, tag, episode number or recency. Use when someone asks what the show has said about a subject, wants the latest episodes, or names an episode you need to locate. Read-only, no sign-up.

  • mwp-read-transcripts

Download and read My Weird Prompts podcast transcripts, either one episode, the latest few, or the whole archive in bulk. Use when you need what the hosts actually said, to quote or summarise an episode, or to analyse the show's text. Read-only, no sign-up.

  • mwp-episode-audio

Get the audio for My Weird Prompts podcast episodes, either a direct MP3 link for one episode or the RSS feeds to subscribe to. Use when someone wants to listen to, download, embed or subscribe to the show or a specific episode.

  • mwp-send-prompt

Help a person send a question or idea to the My Weird Prompts podcast so it might become an episode. Use when someone wants to suggest a topic, ask the show something, or "send a prompt to My Weird Prompts". Covers shaping the prompt, checking it hasn't been covered, and handing it over. A human sends it; there is no automated submission API.

Install them all (Claude Code)

This copies every skill into ~/.claude/skills/. For a single project, use .claude/skills/ in that repository instead. Other skill-aware agents read the same SKILL.md format from their own skills folder.

curl -s https://myweirdprompts.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json | jq -r '.skills[].name' | while read s; do
  mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/$s
  curl -s -o ~/.claude/skills/$s/SKILL.md https://myweirdprompts.com/.well-known/agent-skills/$s/SKILL.md

MCP server

https://myweirdprompts.com/mcp is a read-only Streamable HTTP server with no auth. Its tools are search_episodes, list_episodes, get_episode, get_transcript and about_the_show. Connection instructions for each client are on the MCP server page. Each page on the site also registers these tools with in-browser agents through WebMCP.

Sending a prompt

Every prompt is read by a person, who chooses which ones become episodes, so there's no API that turns a prompt into an episode. If someone you're helping wants to send one, help them write it (one clear question, with their own context), check it hasn't been covered already, and give them the Telegram listener bot to send it through. The mwp-send-prompt skill covers each step.

House rules

  • Content is CC BY 4.0. Credit it as "My Weird Prompts by Daniel Rosehill" and say that it is AI-generated.
  • The hosts are AI and can be wrong. Check a claim before you repeat it as fact.
  • The APIs are rate-limited per IP (about 60 requests a minute, and 30 for semantic search). For bulk work, use the Hugging Face datasets.
  • Link episodes as https://myweirdprompts.com/episode/{slug}/.
